Principal's Message
Welcome!
Kermit King Elementary is a TK-6 Elementary School dedicated to delivering an exemplary education where students can reach their fullest potential. We believe that each child has a unique set of gifts and talents. We are committed to providing each student with a high-quality educational experience that inspires them to become lifelong learners.
We hope you are enjoying a quality summer vacation time with your family. In preparation for our Kermit King Elementary 2026-2027 School Year, I would like to share a few important dates:
Class Assignments: Your child’s teacher (class assignment) will be posted on Parent Square on August 10, 2026.
Meet the Teacher Evening Event: On Wednesday, August 12th, from 5:00-6:30 pm, our families are invited to meet your child’s teacher. At 6:30, we will have a Parent Title I Meeting and time for Questions & Answers for parents prior to the first day of school.
First Day of School: August 13th. School starts at 8 am.
Important!
Please update your family's information by completing your Parent Data Confirmation information (PDC) in Aeries starting August 3rd. We would like you to complete the Parent Data Confirmation by August 10th. Our goal is 100% completion at Kermit King Elementary. This is completed every year for each student. Thank you in advance for completing this information in the Aeries Parent Portal Login. When complete, your child will be on a list for a PBIS prize!
At Kermit King Elementary, we believe in continual improvement. Every staff member is instrumental in ensuring the school day is successful. Staff members collaborate daily to increase student engagement and student success. With a strong belief that children always come first, every member of the Kermit King Family is here to serve students and ensure that they have the best day possible!
Kermit King Elementary is a PBIS School. We have established systems of support to promote and reinforce excellent behaviors. Students are ready to LEAP: we are leaders who encourage one another, act responsibly, and have a positive attitude. Every child can be recognized in various ways throughout the year for demonstrating LEAP behaviors. Each staff member is committed to this proactive approach to creating a safe and healthy school culture where students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.
I feel very fortunate to be part of such an extraordinary organization. Kermit King Elementary School is truly an exceptional place, centered on students and devoted to helping children become productive world citizens.
